ESTROTECT™ Breeding Indicators are proven to help beef and dairy cattle breeders accurately detect estrus intensity, increase indicated pregnancy rates, inform breeding decisions and improve cattle breeding programs.
When the Breeding Indicator is more than 50% rubbed off, it means the cow is in optimal estrus intensity and it’s time to breed. Research has proven that cattle express higher estrus intensity, and therefore, confirmed pregnancies are three times more likely when the patch is more than 50% rubbed off.
