Description
First life Calf and lamb colostrum is a complementary colostrum feeding stuff for lambs and calves.
Calves
For use when dam has poor or insufficient colostrum quality, multiple or orphaned calves and calves born to heifers. To supplement maternal colostrum add 500ml (warm water) to 200-250g of powder. Mix until powder is completely dissolved. Make up to 1 litre with further warm water. Administer by bottle or stomach tube. Where minimal maternal colostrum has been received repeat feeds may be necessary.
Lambs
For use when dam has poor or insufficient colostrum quality, multiple or orphaned lambs. To supplement maternal colostrum add 25g in 80ml warm water to make a single feed. Repeat after 4 hours if necessary. If minimal maternal colostrum has been fed mix 50g powder in 120ml warm water. Mix until powder is completely dissolved
